The Mansfield Group (D H Mansfield Ltd) dates back to 1978 as a small village garage based in Biggin by Hartington, Derbyshire. After almost 30 years we have grown to be one of the Country’s largest Specialist Rescue & Recovery operators, operating over 50 Specialist rescue & Recovery units from 5 sites and employing almost 140 staff members.

All calls for Rescue & Recovery are handled through our Control Centre located at our Head Office site in Stoke-on-Trent. This dedicated facility operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week 365/6 days per year. A full back up Control Centre in the event of a major disaster is based at each of our locations.  Full data back up is also provided for.

The Company is owned by 2 shareholders – Darrell & Joanne Mansfield who are Chairman and Chief Executive Officer respectively.

We have a full management structure in place which we believe proves a resilient structure to enable The Mansfield Group to deliver a quality service to it’s client base.

Whilst The Mansfield group provide a full range of workshop services, our core business is vehicle rescue and recovery and specialist logistics services. The company hold a full standard National and International Operators Licence.

Our client base includes all the major motoring organizations, insurance companies, large fleet operators and many large motor dealer groups both car and commercial.

We are able to deal with any situation presented to us in all types of terrain, from the narrow roads of the Peak District to the nations busy motorway network.
