Iceland
We were called out to an incident at around 8.30am on an isolated road near to Baslow in Derbyshire. Upon arrival we found that an Iceland articulated truck had turned over whilst driving over a roundabout. It had come to rest just off the road and landed on a perimeter fence.
We decided on the setup and positioned the MAN Heavy Rotating Crane Unit at the rear of the vehicle and the Volvo Heavy Winch Unit side on to the Vehicle and set up the equipment.
The vehicle, although fully freighted lifted straight up and was slowly lowered down onto it's wheels.
After securing the cab and blowing air into the tanks the vehicle was towed away to a Volvo body shop in Wigan.
All other debris was cleared away and the road was made safe again at around 12pm.
Another job well done through team work, experience and excellent vehicles and equipment for the job.
