This module deals with the use of Ancillary Recovery Equipment when recovering Heavy Vehicles and covers the following area's:

Theory:

• Health and Safety as it applies to Heavy Vehicle Recovery
• Terminology used - Flat tow, Suspend tow, Total lift
• Operating Procedures and customer service
• Correct use of Ancillary equipment and methods of towing
• Other types of Ancillary Equipment

Practical Skill Instruction:

• Demonstrate the correct use and deployment of all Ancillary equipment.
